Bamboo

BAMTEK

Bamtek is the newest innovation and technology in Engineered Bamboo Flooring and is the result of many years' study trials and is the ultimate solution to the problems associated with solid strand woven bamboo flooring glued to concrete.

Bamtek flooring is constructed with strand woven bamboo and cross banded layers for maximum stability whilst still retaining the density of solid strand woven bamboo.

This sustainable timber floorboard is heated, pressed, milled and then has six layers of protective finish applied before it leaves the factory. It requires no on-site varnishing so there is no mess and no strong solvents.

These boards are available in Coffee, Natural, Ebony and Walnut, board size being 120x14x1815mm.

It’s also important to understand that Bamtek differs from other engineered bamboo floors. Our unique manufacturing process ensures that the colour is constant all the way through. Other products only have an artificial colour applied.

This is a product that can be installed with complete confidence over any concrete floor.

Why BAMTEK

The engineering success of Bamtek gives you complete confidence when being laid over concrete. Its superior manufacturing process ensures stability, increases durability and as shown in the diagram it has the same depth to the tongue as solid so therefore it can be re-sanded the same as solid strand woven bamboo. Confirming that engineered strand woven Bamtek is in fact superior to solid!

It’s also important to understand that Bamtek differs from other engineered strand woven bamboo floors. Our unique manufacturing process ensures that the colour is constant all the way through. Other products only have an artificial colour applied to the surface, which is lost when re-sanded. Bamtek’s original finish will be retained even after sanding.

BAMKTEK Profile

Bamtek is a warm and inviting alternative to timber, tiles and carpet. It can be confidently laid over concrete or particleboard and will enhance living areas, hallways, play areas, bedrooms and kitchens. In commercial environments, Bamtek is practical and extremely dense making it durable enough to exceed all expectations. This makes it perfect for shops, offices, cafes, restaurants and reception areas. Whether your architectural style is cutting edge contemporary, laid-back coastal or totally traditional, you’ll feel right at home (or at work) with Bamtek.

After an expensive manufacturing process, Bamtek is then milled and finished with 6 layers of protective coating before it leaves the factory. It requires no on-site varnishing so there is no mess and no strong solvents. With Bamtek you don’t have to endure the inconvenience of moving out of your home so your furniture and fittings can be replaced as soon as your floor is installed. Great for renovations and new homes!
