Queensland Timber Flooring offer a full range of Tongue and Groove (T & G) strip flooring in Australian species as well as more exotic imported timbers. All our timber flooring is compliant with Australian Standards and most species are available in both Standard and Select Grades. T & G flooring is 80mm wide x 19mm in height and is in random lengths up to 5 metres long. The boards are secret nailed and glued to a sub-floor over concrete or directly over joists or particle board. The flooring is sanded and polished with 3 coats of your preferred finish. We also supply
83 mm x 12 mm
T & G boards, although this is only available in much shorter lengths.
Block parquetry is available in most species in 19mm or 14mm thickness. Parquetry has been around for centuries offering a distinct formal appeal. As well as the traditional patterns of Herringbone and Basketweave, parquetry design is limited only by your imagination. Works of art can be created using various inlays and patterns, such as contrasting coloured timbers, marble and brass. Parquetry can be installed directly over concrete or particle board, once installed, it is finally sanded and polished with 3 coats of your preferred finish. Working with Architects and Designers, we are able to complement their individual designs from
the nautical ambience of a "ship deck" caulked Beech floor; to to the rustic appeal of an Antique Wideboard, including Staining and Limewash Finishes.
