Queensland Timber Flooring is the oldest company in Brisbane to supply and install T & G strip flooring over concrete. Our Managing Director and owner, David Smith, has been in the timber industry all his working life and has held a builder's licence for over 30 years. All of our Installation and Senior Sales staff, including Managers, Supervisors and Estimator are from the timber industry. As well as directly employing our own carpenters we also have experienced craftsmen that are employed on a subcontract basis and work for us full time, and have done so for many years now. Even, our delivery driver has been with us for 14 years.
Queensland Timber Flooring holds over 8,000 square metres of different Australian timber floor boards in stock. This enables us to guarantee delivery times when orders are placed. The two sawmills we use have been producing hardwood flooring since 1947 and 1954 and the later one was the only company asked to produce hardwood flooring for the Velodrome for the Sydney Olympics. We have been dealing with this company since 1993. Both companies are accredited with Timber Queensland and the ATFA, their quality of product is superior and they comply with Australian Standards.
